Home of Carlsberg exhibition
A ticket to Home of Carlsberg gives guests access to the 3,000m2 exhibition that takes them on a journey through the history of the Jacobsen family, the scientific discoveries, the Carlsberg brand, and, of course, beer. The exhibition is discovered firsthand, and through videos, interactive screens and stories about the Brewer family, the Carlsberg story unfolds in the past, present, and future.
The exhibition can be accessed every 15 minutes for groups up to 35 and takes around 1,5 hours to walk through. The visit ends in the Carlsberg Bar, where you will be treated to a perfectly served beer. Therefore, we recommend setting aside at least 2 hours.

October – March: 10:00-18:00 all days. The last ticket sale is at 16:30.
Monday-Wednesday: 160 DKK per person
Thursday-Sunday: 190 DKK per person
April – September 10:00-20:00 all day. The last ticket sale is at 18:30.

Private beer tastings and historical guided tours are in Danish or English and must be booked beforehand. Notice the historical tours take place outside and are not a part of the exhibition.
Tour 1: The Brewer – Carl Jacobsen's Carlsberg
Duration: 60 minutes. Max 30 participants per guide.
Price: 1350 DKK on weekdays / 2000 DKK on weekends and holidays.
Guided tour around Carl Jacobsen's New Carlsberg, where you will learn about Carlsberg's founding in 1847, the relationship and conflicts between father and son, the founding of New Carlsberg and experience some of the most iconic New Carlsberg buildings – the Elephant and Dipylon gate, New Carlsberg Brewery, and the Lotus chimney.
Tour 2: Carlsberg – the old days
Duration: 60 minutes. Max 30 participants per guide.
Price: 1350 DKK on weekdays / 2000 DKK on weekends and holidays.
Guided tour around J.C. Jacobsen's Old Carlsberg, where you will learn about the founding of Carlsberg in 1847 through J.C.'s eyes. You will learn about J.C.'s vision for Carlsberg and the Golden Words and experience some of the most essential Carlsberg places – the old cellars, the Star Gate, the Chalk Tower, Carlsberg Research Laboratory and, of course, the old brewery buildings.
Tour 3: The History of Carlsberg
Duration 90 minutes. Max 30 participants per guide.
Price: 1750 DKK on weekdays / 2400 DKK on weekends and holidays.

You will learn about the founding of Carlsberg in 1847, the vision for Carlsberg, the Golden Words and experience some of the most essential Carlsberg places – the old cellars, the Star Gate, the Chalk Tower, and Carlsberg Research Laboratory.

The guided tours and beer tastings can be cancelled up to 10 days before taking place.
Tickets to the exhibition can be cancelled up to 48 hours before taking place.
As we have a limited number of tickets for every time slot, we can't guarantee that we will be able to increase the number of tickets on short notice. We can, however, always reduce the number of tickets up to 48 hours before the visit. Therefore, book tickets for the maximum number of people you expect to be.
